Tell me if this idea is feasable..

My v1 has a cigarette charger with two RJ-11 jacks on it, one for the v1 and 1 for another remove v1 device...

I just got a phone and it uses micro usb to charge it (motorola) between 500 ma and 850ma for charging.

Would it be possible to build a rj-11 to micro usb cable (or run it through adapters of some sort) and power the phone off of my v1 cigarette adapter?

as long as the output voltage and current are sufficient, I don't see why not...

I've been searching online for a cable that's already prepped, can't seem to find a supplier even..

Any problems on crimbing an RJ-11 cable into a micro USB connector since all that's running is straight power? Or is it more complex than that..

Well remember USB is 5V +/- 1/2 volt, Some phones will take an increased voltage into the port, however I would step the voltage down from 12 to 5 (Assuming the V1 port outputs 12, I've never checked personally)

We'll have to chat about the best way to achieve what i'm trying to do... i'll give you a call later tonight. I'm horrible at electronics and remembering power demands :p

lowering voltage will prevent popped fuses which is what im doing on a daily basis it sucks nuts
