nice amp. I got the same pc450 and I'm very satisfied. The guy running his pc 450 did what other said. Run fronts off of amp and bridge the rears for the sub and run rear speakers off of deck. -
Yes.
Yes.
Another option instead of running the rears off the head unit you can run them off the 4-ch amp & just turn the Gain down on the rears to even out the sound F-R.Leave a comment:

ok i think the 4 channel one is the one that works, because it must have been the one powering all the speakers in my previous car, while the smaller amp didn't work, and thus the subs didn't work.
To amp the front speakers, do i have to run wires from the head unit to the amp and then from the amp to the speakers?
and by bridging do you mean hooking the sub up to two channels on the amp?
sorry i really am a complete n00b at this. My main concern is getting the sub mounting system right, and then teaching myself about the wiring.Leave a comment:

If the four channel is working. Use it to run the whole system. front speaker from amp rear from deck. Sub bridged on rear of amp. A Luke box and rock on.Leave a comment:

UPDATE 2009-12-01: Subwoofer/amp installed, I have questions on how to set all the amp controls, see pg 2
Hey guys so i just replaced the POS Pyle speakers in my E30 with 5.25 Pioneers. Not the best speakers, but i got all four for $32 brand new.
So anyway, my brother just shipped some more of my audio crap that i had in MD that I never used, and now i intend to use it.
The problem is, i know next to nothing about audio systems.
So here is what i got: an 8" subwoofer and two amps. The amps came out of my previous car, one is bad that was hooked up to the sub, so hence i never used the sub, and the other was wired to all the speakers, and worked. (this was the PO's system).
So what I want to do in somehow install the 8" in my E30 with the amp that works.
My questions run thus:
What is the best box setup for my sub?
Does the box have to be sealed, or is this an "open air" sub that i can just bolt into a round hole?
And finally, how do I wire this in? (in the most basic sense, i can figure it out mostly)
Most of all, all you audio gurus chime in and tell me what I have and anything I need to know.
Here is what I have:
