Nope. Not at all, in fact, no depth issues, works sealed or vented, blah blah.

Only their top dollar woofers have these issues.

If I'm going to run an IDMax box, I'm going to run an IDMax in it. :)

Does the IDQ10v2 drop into the box? I may want to switch to that if it's easy. Edit: Ah, I see. 10.25" across for the V2. Oh well. And to think all of this would have worked easily if I had just cheaped out in the first place. :)

FYI - The IDQ10v3 is 11" across and does not fit.

Luke, do you have any suggestions for making this work, or should I just return it and get a 10w3 like everyone else?

is it bad that i cant remember? Im pretty sure it is titanium powered with some fancy defunct cross-over doohickey and I *think* an exile sub. Sadly my long winded subframe problem and rear end install put the box in storage. Guess I should get on that.

Dunno, heck I can't remember if I have the MKi or MKii box. I think I had a 10" in the MKi and then upgraded to MKii with a 12"

Only the yellow Lightning amps suck. the blue or black ones generally kick ass. They made one of my all time favorite subs, too.

Don't forget, they are the same as Fosgate.

Everything with the Lightning logo i've come across has been absolute shit. Maybe nobody around here carries their decent stuff. I need to get a better sub box for my car, and replace my blown Type R so i can get rid of the shitty 8 i'm rolling now. I miss feeling my bass on the freeway, i can barely feel it at a dead stop now. :(

i will be taking my brothers RF Punch 500 watt RMS amp soon also... it should be a pretty decent setup
