e46 key setup with keyless entry

Is there any way to get the e46 style key to work with a simple key less entry system.
I would like this key to work with.

Will the new e46 keys shown in the second link come with the roundel as the button? It doesn't look like it, unless they give it to you seperately. I like that idea though.

no roundel but you can get a sticker printed and put it on the button
bam done.

I emailed the company hopefully they have a product similar to what I'm looking for.

doubtful, i doubt you could get that key cut to work in an e30

Yeah, maybe not, but I bet a normal key could be put in that housing

I work at the dealership, so I'm sure I'd be able to get something usable from there.

I ordered the E46 style key/ key less entry from United Auto Security received both keys with BMW emblems in them. I'm not sure they can advertise the keys on Ebay with the Roundel in them or not. The new keys are the exact same size and shape as the E46 keys. all functions are in the same positions. The only thing that is any different is that the United Security keys have a small blue LED in the base that lights up when each button is pressed.

The older style keys United Security offered that held the key blade in the head with a small screw were real POS. Now that the new keys have been introduced with the head and the blade made all together its a whole different story. All I can say is I am normally a very picky person when it comes to detail and with the new style keys I am very impressed.

All I am waiting for now is BMW to get the new key in that I ordered for my car so I can get the United keys cut to a new unworn key profile.

I've got the switch system. Its not to bad. You just need to use some loctite on those small screws and your set.

All you get with the kit is a Installation CD and it has a 11 page PDF of how to install it. I could always email you a copy of what they sent me.

BTW I have a uninstalled early model kit if anyone is interested in putting on in their cars
