yep I took it apart and looked at the size of the blue LED's and ordered some in orange. $5 and just need to solder them in correctly with polarization correct, with a re-flow soldering iron and call it a day.

pioneer deh p700bt love it!!! cept for the blue buttons....will be fixed in a while. i'm kinda worried about one thing though. I need to find how to test the polarity on the circuit board, or maybe i can just get a magnifying glass and match them up.

will do. I still need to show pics of how to wire up tweets with the amp bypassed using the stock wiring.

and if i use LED's in place of the cluster lights, will i need to wire in resistors to even the current out?

Mine is still the only E30 I have seen with the numbers around the temp dial

So they are all orange, buuuuut lol, i burned up a little either resistor or capacitor on the circuit board, so i need to replace it i think. what happens is say 5 lights are on one loop of the board, but now only 4 light, so the 4 are brighter than they should be. I'll figure it out. It lloks very good though, buch better than the blue. :D My photobucket won't allow me to post so i dunno what the heck is goin on...it said server error when i tried to upload.

So does anyone know about circuit board capacitors. I need to get a chip Capacitor that says 471 on top. I guess this is the capacitance? Imput anyone. the little guy is only about 2mmx1mm.
