Sub in spare wheel well

Seen this done a couple of times, but have never gotten a chance to hear one in action.
Does it sound good, or like shit?

Ive never heard one, but i know they look tight. If you do it right im sure it would sound pretty good, even though the sub is upward firing.

I don't see why it would sound any worse than any other normal box in a trunk. You are supposed to build a box and put it inside the hole, you don't use the hole as a box....

Angled up towards the top of the trunk as opposed to firing towards the rear gate might make a little difference but I would imagine its neglible.

I've been told that fiberglass boxes sound good, never heard one myself tho.

The difference is if you build a poor fiberglass box, it will sound like crap.

A bad regular box will also sound like crap, but theres a huge difference :P
