Box is 1.5 cubic feet, gross. Works best with a driver with an Fs under 30Hz and a Qts under .4

Ports are 2) 3" X 18", with an elbow. The calculator I use already accounts for port displacement, and is generally spot on.

Since I am building these boxes for lots of different drivers, I would never optimize them for any particular driver, but an easy to find general range of drivers, with easily found specs.

I can and do build specific boxes for specific drivers, but they sell for quite a bit more than $185 or $225, and are far more detailed in their construction and design.

Soon, I will be doing a run of boxes with IDMax10s pre-installed, designed in correlation with Image Dynamics, FFT tested, the whole deal...but they ain't gonna be cheap, either.

But yeah, bang for the buck, nothing I have seen comes even close.

      Closing SOON!

Does it have enough depth, if you were to cut a 12" hole to fit an Exile XP12?

That's just about the right size for that driver.

I guess I can just use a 10. Probably the ED sub. Though I gotta be worried about depth on any of these drivers.

        I hate sucking at woodworking.

BTW: I have an XP 12 in my car. I would never do that woofer in 1.5 cubic feet...they suck sealed, and that is WAY too small for ported.

I read this whole thread and I still don't know how much these boxes are?
What model Polks? Might be interested if shipping isn't a bill and a half.

I don't know how else to describe them, other than saying they are the Momo series. Cast basket, rubber surround. They were in my old E34 when I bought it. Nice subs.

I have no idea how much shipping would be. I'm guessing $20-25 for each of them.

                        Sorry, dewd.

Yeah, that amp is a pile of crap. I mean, if you have no other choice, go ahead, but it is about the same as deck power...pointless.

Not bridgeable, either. If I had something sitting I would hook you up, but I got nothing.

My Cadence TXA-3004 is a decent cheapie amp. They are kinda ugly, but work well and are bridgeable (only at 4 ohm though). I bought mine for $125 shipped.

I am sure you can find one on ebay or just by googling.

Also, contact Jason Paul from Cadence. He can probably hook you up with something they have left over for a nice price.

Why do you want 4 channel so bad? It seems it would almost be cheaper and easier to get a mono amp for the sub and something else for the fronts...
At least that's what I'm doing. Sundown SAE-1000D for the woofer and an alpine MRP-F300 for the front and rears. Just my $.02
