    NO.

Just get them on your low-beams.
HID's take about 5 or more seconds to charge up and give you the proper lighting output.

I'm saying this assuming you don't use your high-beams while driving everywhere.

I ordered 55w for both my lows and fogs.

Just a quick question, are DDM's HIDs PnP for smileys?

For the smileys, I think you have to drill a small hole or something of that sort to get them to pnp.

        Someone will answer soon.

For Smiley's it's a 7/8's hole drilled in the back of the housing. Bulb, wires and rubber boot to cover it all up.

I have the 55w 8000k (standard size ballast) in my lows and 55w 6000k fogs in my e34. I went w/ the 8000k because I heard the 55w washes out the color so I was trying to get the white/blue tint but I'm actually going to 6000k's in my lows because the 8000k's don't have enough light output and are "too blue" for me, but they aren't purple at all...

                      Great product though!!

                            Yes

1 plug is already connected to you bulb.
2 plugs go into the ballast
The remaining plug attaches to the existing headlight plug

By "yes", I meant that it is the female plug that attaches to your existing headlight wiring... sorry. DON'T cut it out. It is what provides the power to and tells the ballast to fire up.
