      well...

that interested me a lot, because as I read, I don't want to compromise a lot my trunk space (I use it to put my bass amp for when I have to play)

If you happen to know any other items like this, but no so costly, post them

      Thanks

Why not just buy a sub, amp and box for $300? It won't be much bigger than that infinity thing.

A good 10" in a sealed box (*ducks to avoid ported freaks throwing stuff*) and a small amp will do that for you, with much better results.

I have one. They are right about the sound, you get better out of a separate amp, box, and sub. But a good amp, a good sub and a well built box may cost more than $300?

I am satisfied with mine for the time being. If I had it to do over, I would consider the box thing, but for the compactness, and the cost, the Infinity ain't too bad. Really just depends how much bass you want and how much money you want to spend.

I have one. I bought it back when I had my Jeep Wrangler, and didn't have a lot of room to fit boxes, amps and subs. So I went with the Infinity and it has served my purposes well. They are right about the sound, you get better out of a separate amp, box, and sub. But a good amp, a good sub and a well built box may cost more than $300 and as far as available room, it will def. be diminished if you go with separate box and amp.

I am satisfied with mine for the time being. For the compactness, and the cost, the Infinity ain't too bad. Really just depends how much bass you want and how much money you want to spend. If you want a lot of thumpin bass, go with a box. If you just want a good bass feel, then the Infinity is okay. I may do a box later on, but have too many other projects to deal with right now.

Best advice I can give is to find someone that has one and give it a listen. Then decide for yourself.

Good amp, sub, and box may cost more then 300 but not that much more. And if you consider the performance you get out of it for the money, i definately think you would get more bang for the buck performance. And if ur patient and do ur research, you can get good stuff at great prices.

You can also check the circulers every week for best buy and circuit city. Also check manufacturer's websites, sometimes they'll have rebates or specials
