Alarm install Q- turn signal light hook up

Ok, I searched and didn't find nuthin' (or didn't search correctly). How do you hook up the turnsignal lights to the alram instead of the parking lights? Do you use 2 relays; one for each side? Alarm is a Crimeguard 350i5 btw...

You want the lights to flash brighter, is that it? Otherwise I don't see the point on the E30.

Nope, all you need is 2 3A diodes. You will want to connect to the grey/white and grey/yellow at the light switch, but diode isolate so you can still use your parking lights.

White wire to 2 diodes, then off to parking light circuit.

Wait, I just re-read...are you just trying to get light flash, or do you specifically wanna use the turn signals to flash?

If you wanna flash the turns, do the exact same thing, but connect to the blue/red and blue/black at the steering column.

As usual, not responsible for mistakes, YMMV, don't blow up your car, blah blah blah.

Yeah, I want the turns to flash with the alarm, like on new oem alarms. I've never worked with diodes, are they directional? As in the current flow?

A diode is a one-way check valve. Works one way for positive, the other for negative. radio Shack sells exactly what you need, but any electronics store should stock 3A diodes.
