    Scoshe universal remote level control

So I ordered one of these from sonic:

    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...osche+RLC.html

for $15 shipped with the intention of mounting it in one of the blanks above the radio in the dash. The good news is that the controller comes out of the casing easily:

The bottom pops off with a small screwdriver.

the knob is a pretty standard affair and comes off easily

the controller is only held in by the retaining nut on the shaft, and the friction of the grommet around the wire at the rear.

Now to drill a 1/4" hole in a dash blank and install

i'm confused. assuming this is meant to go between the head unit and the amp, shouldnt one set of those RCA cables be male?

I think it is assumed it won't be mounted close enough to the HU to plug in directly. You connect this to the HU via RCA cables.

Unless the formative years of Health Class steered me wrong, I think accident is right. I can't find the proper adapter at Parts Express.

I spent 10 minutes paging through RCA adapters/converters/jacks and never came up with it. How embarassing. I thought I might be forced into short cables
