    Clusterfucked gauges

Alright my gauges went out the other night. Everything except the speedo went out, along with my power mirrors, and everything heater/ac related. My abs light in the dash turned on same time as the battery light, and when I go to drive my car when I start crawling the engine dies. Fuse 10 is reading high on the amps to the point where the alligator clips get warm and the ohms resistance jumps from 1.5 to 50 when I shake the car. Help?
    Jah bless! :pimp:

You've got a short under the dash, sounds like. Mine was the power wire to the check engine light bouncing around and shorting against the ABS unit. At 50 amps of drain it's liable to have cooked some wiring, so take a peek and look for melted insulation, you're bound to find some.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

i have the exact same problem rite now on my 91 318is, except fuse #10 keeps blowing out every 10min of driving. i tried turning the key on to start position and letting the car sit for awhile(not running), 3 hours later the fuse was still good, started it up and drove around for 10 min or so and bam, gauges all went dead, no heater controls etc. if you look up fuse #10 in bentley manual, that mofo powers alotta shit, including idle control and fuel delivery...

i got under my dash, couldnt see any burnt wires, gonna be a PITA

I'm getting some funk in the wires all of the way back in the cabin by the drivers seat, it jumps way more than the other areas. Looks like thats my issue area. Got the whole damn car torn apart. :???: Carpet, dash, fuse box area, I'm gonna find it or die trying.
