In the past I ran across and article to replace the OBC with LED lamps but I can not find this article. Heck even lamps will do now as this is holding up assembling the dash and driving. Anyone have this LED article plus where to buy them plus the regular lamps? many thanks in advance.

When I did the 13-button conversion last month, i bought a light-bar with LEDs already fitted for $7 shipped, IIRC, off of ebay. Works great.

I recommend using some fine sandpaper or a scotch-brite pad to roughen the surface of the LED's a bit. Tis will help diffuses the light better and make them slightly more multi-directional.Comment

I just stuck mine in there as is - the lighting is fine, you can't tell they're LEDs. you can still use the reflector that was in there with the regular bulbs. add a 330ohm resistor and you're done.Comment
