Not supposed to stay on. See if you can a patch of dirt to check the ABS on. If it works then thats good, maybe something is going on with the cluster. If not: Check to make sure the wiring on the wheel speed sensors is intact, someone may have mistaken the ABS wheel speed sensor for the brake pad replacement indicator wiring and went crazy with the snips. If the wiring looks good then it is possible that the wheel speed sensors are dirty or misaligned. They can be cleaned off with brake cleaner if they have road grime caked on them. Anything beyond this would probably be an ABS controller issue.

Remove the driver side wheel (not required but it makes it a lot more obvious to see if you dont know what you are looking for) There will be 2 sets of wires running from the brake caliper assembly, clipped into the strut housing, then through a grommet in the fenderwell into the engine compartment. Just a few inches from the grommet inside the engine bay there should be a white/yellow connector. This is for the ABS wheel speed sensor. Some people unplug that (theres one on each side) with the belef that it is the brake pad replacement indicator. Check to make sure that its plugged in, that there is no corrosion inside the connector, and that the wires arent cut/broken anywhere all the way to the sensor.

Hey Sagaris, so I checked a while back on those two wires. I followed one to a little fuse box type thing with 3 relay fuses and the other one seemed to just go into normal fuse box or into the firewall. That first wire (that went to the 3 relay fuses) was bare, the black coating was coming off of it and it was leaving 2 wires exposed (black + red, I believe). Not sure if maybe the fuse relay is bad or not. Is that what I was supposed to keep an eye out for? Or am I completely retarded.
