    -Yes. Thin and fairly clean, OK "Punch" from lower mid/midbass region (to about 80Hz, but should be high passed about 100Hz if over 110db is expected) and vocals are fine...I mean, these are cheap chinese speakers.

    -yes, trim out the old ones, use CA glue to hold them in. I always pull out the foam, I like it brighter.

    -yes, almost always. Especially if you can solder, then ALL speakers can...
