plasma glow gauge faces

yeah, these are usually pretty stupid looking, but this particular one looks really nice:

it basically looks stock, only the #'s and marks glow. my gauges are pretty dim, plus you get bored looking at the same thing for 8 years :p

I asked and they're also making a set for the E30 M3 and one for custom turbo cars with an 8k tach and a 200mph speedo face.

they also make the cheesy looking blue/white faces if you're into that sort of thing. ;)

I'm waiting for the 8k tach face, hopefully with a software divider I'll be able to have an upgraded tach for relatively cheap.

If it were $80 shipped... I'd probably be in. I like them... but there are more pressing things I'd like to upgrade first.

Good find though. I'm going to keep them in mind for the turbo car and hope the price comes down.

That being said, I am in love with the stock E30 illumination. I wish all cars had these gauges.

I need an 8k tach face and 200mph speedo for my e30... only not plasma... :p I suppose a 7500rpm tach would be okay... just seems like it'd look weird haha

one thing I think you guys are missing is to do an 8k tach you either need the coding plug (M3/M5) or some other way of controlling the tach. it's not like you can just change the face and have a different range, not unless it extends into the MPG area which would look kinda lame..

as far as a 200mph speedo, I don't expect anyone really cares about that. :p

^That's an option. But doesn't that semi defeat the purpose of having "indiglo" "plasma" gauges? Not that it couldn't look good. I'd love to see pictures of it done both ways; with and without the stock bulbs in.
