Turn Signals and Brake Lights - Not working

As the title says, both are not working.
But my hazards are working perfectly fine.

It started last night, but was fine again when I got in my car this morning....
And then after about 15 minutes of driving... not working again.

I haven't driven it again yet, but I'm looking through the etm, and I'm going to checkout the ground for the lights in the trunk when I get back to my car tonight.

    What else should I do?
    Thanks guys

    Lampenkontrollergeraet.

It is a relay located in the trunk, driver's side. Give that a try.

        Could also be the flasher.

Looked at the light check relay, seemed one of the connecters was loose by a tiny bit. Now they work...hopefully permanently.

Ehh, ok now the problem is more persistent. I had them working for a few days and now it's not working again most of the time...it'll randomly work sometimes when i first start up my car and then quit 1 minute or 2 into my drive.

And one more symptom I've now noticed when the turn signals and brake lights don't work, the map lights don't work then either. But work as soon as the other two work again.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

yeah, it kinda comes with the whole old german car thing haha. my wipers don't work right now either, but that's been like that since I got the thing in july so unrelated to this. I think.

You might have a bad flasher button. Replace that. I know that the turn signals won't work if the button isn't installed so perhaps your problem stems from there.

When its not working, try to beep the horn.

In that case, i'm gonna go out on a limb and say it's something along the "R" terminal of the ignition switch (how are your gauges/stereo and check control?) or if that stuff is OK, you have a problem with pin 8 of C114. The shitty part is C114 is on the bottom of your fusebox and sucks to get at.

Instead, check it by popping out K2. Take a look at the bottom of it and look for the terminal labeled 86. Matching it up with the terminals in the fusebox, check K2 terminal 86 for battery voltage with the key (and all of the offending components) switched on.
