well fuses turned out to be alright. and i even double checked the continuity on the outgoing speaker wire. ive got what seems to be, all remote wires connected. not sure what the issue could be, im really tempted to just go out and buy a new hu, but i dont want to blow money on it if it still wont work.

well i got it all sorted out.
turns out, all it was, the stock fader wasnt properly seated in the harness. dohhhh.
but i am back in business.
