Please help me ID this hacked harness

So in the process of stripping out the spaghetti that the car came with, I found this hacked harness under the seat...... it was sparking pretty nicely so I wrapped it up with electrical tape. Can anyone tell me what the harness is for, and if I can repair/replace it? Thanks in advance

And for some entertainment, here is the spaghetti haha

They did work, but had such terrible distortion/feedback/whatever that I started removing everything to eventually re do it properly

those are the oem rear speaker wires.

i just noticed that all the spaghetti you ripped out was audio related.

That big harness in the first pic is the stock premium sound harness.

Have you downloaded the ETM yet?

BTW: that pile of crap in the 3rd shot could make a decent sounding system with appropriate skills.

Yes everything I removed (cleanly) was audio related. The PO didn't have a head unit, just a line directly into the speakers. I thought I could live with it for a while until the noise got unbearable. Under hard driving it would get loud/staticy even without the Ipod hooked up.

Too bad the factory harness got cut off. What would you guys do with it? Just leave it under the seat?

Haha thats why I saved it and carefully removed it, so someone with skills could help me put it back together haha. It is all nicely organized in a box now, I didn't cut anything

I would rewire all the speakers using the stock wire and reconnect that Pioneer amp to run the fronts and the sub, then use deck power (jumpered at the amp harness in the trunk) to run the rear.
