    Subwoofer ideas

I've been wanting to put in a subwoofer for awhile now and finally am getting around to it...

Here is one of my ideas

And having it mounted from under like this but with a box surrounding it. I would also have it supported.

What would be a good size for a single sub that would fit right there? Are there any pictures of this setup?

For real. You will have more bass then you know what to do with. There is a reason he is mentioned in every single subwoofer thread.

i have the same idea, because a luke box will not work for me. i plan on having an x brace go through my trunk to my rear strut bar and that box would be in the way.

Are you talking about a brace that comes off the roll cage and ties to the rear shock towers? If so, why not come directly off the shock tower vertically about 6", angled forward, and then do your "X", it will clear just fine.

Shock tower bars that fit behind my boxes are coming

...they are still kind of under wraps. Production was stalled because I suck, basically.

About your idea: Someone on here replaced the trunk springs with 'vert style struts, and except for the fact that the trunk no longer opens all the way it kicks ass.

I may yet do a pair of 10's in the rear sides, and no, I will not be selling those (or, they would be $800+ a pair)

I'm missing the point of having a full sound system and a xbrace in the same car. Is it so you can still hear the bass with a full face helmet on while you drive to the grocery store to get some milk?
