To be fair though, you have not heard one of the boxes I build. I mean, yeah, it is bass...but so clean and loud and just freaking FUN it is really hard to give up.

I am working on a LTW version though, even though the box is only 35Lbs and makes stunning bass with cheap 8lb woofers.

The LTW will fit with the soon to be released shock tower brace, just waiting on a woofer that fits the bill.

Luke, do you have any pictures of your boxes installed on the inside? How does the bass get into the cab if there is no ski pass? I want to keep the speakers that I currently have there...

Im just trying to make a street track car, but my xbrace will be bolt on for when i go to the track. the reason i had the same question is because when i am too lazy to remove the xbrace, i will still want a sub for my daily driving. plus when i keep my roll bar intact while i am not at the track it will allow me not to drive to all the parties, like i have been doing for the past few weeks.

What is the estimated weight on the ltw box? I have a Luke box and it is amazing. The only reason I would ever consider changing would be to get a ltw Luke box. I deleted my back seat and seat belts and sound deadener and did a nearly even trade off when I installed my new trim panels and my loaded luke box so a ltw would save me weight over stock.

                    Inside of the box:

                    Boxes marching on:

Here is a 12" just for reference:

                    Here is a 10" completed:

                    Here is a 12" installed:

Here is the back of a 10" box with the $200 PPI amp

...and oddly enough, I don't seem to have a single pic of a 10" box from inside the car!

There have been several posted on about a zillion threads though...maybe I should grab one and save it!

Nope. I cut 2/3 of the foam out of a seatback, others have cut holes and used port tubes and 1 guy made a "tunnel" out of MDF and upholstered it.
