head unit backstrap?

I recently installed a new head unit in my 91 318is. I couldn't find any decent place to attach a back strap for the head unit. I installed the head unit at the end of my Dash replacement project...

Does anyone have any photos of where they attached their back strap if you are using one? i dont really like the idea of not having one, because as we all know it doesnt take much to get a head unit out, on the other hand, if i do use a back strap, someone could cause a lot more damage than the value of the head unit, and i might be better off just letting them have the damn thing?

i did try to google, it and came up with nothing for the E30... :(

If someone wants your gear, they are going to get it. The easier it is to get out, the less damage they'll cause to the rest of the car. Hell, lots of cabrio owners park with the top down for that exact reason.

A better method is this:
1) Sleep in car, every night, with bear mace.
2) ???
3) Profit!

i have pretty much come to that conclusion... i would rather them take my 200$ head unit than destroy my crack free dash, and have to do that all over again!.....
