You very likely have a ski pass, but you have to punch it out.

There is a guy selling a 4 channel amp and a 12" MTX on here for like $50

I used to run it at a 1cuft sealed and I loved it. I actually havent used it in a year and totally forgot about it. I didnt realized that it be at 2cuft sealed, "looks" smaller hah.

Last I remember, the shiva liked more space if it went ported but I honestly don't remember. I was trying to go for the 1cuft I went with a while back.

I'll go with your recommendation. :p

BTW yeah, Adire was one of my favorite manufacturers a while back. Dirt cheap too. Brahmas were yummy.

should save you some work and your back :p

    it's for a shiva mk4 if you're curious.
Your Shiva would be unhappy in 2.0 cubic feet sealed, but the depth and the height need to stay the same to fit the woofer and the car...if we dropped to 1.7 cubic feet it would do fine, but more like 1.5 if the dreck on the web is to be believed.

Personally I say go ported, as that is what the designer, Steven Kephart, seems to prefer. In fact, my typical spec of 2.0 cubic feet tuned to 32Hz fits their "ideal" spec perfectly.

It is a shame Adire Audio bit the dust. SQ stuff with big impact is rare!

Anyway, it is your money. If you want sealed, PM me. We can work something out.

    Luke

    Subwoofer Box Build

Hi R3V, time for more subwoofer action!

***If any of you are thinking about using a 12W6V2, hit me up***

Special deals for tough times! I need to heat and insulate my garage so I can build my "other" projects...help me get my E34 on the road and my S50 swap done, this town needs more BMW love!

Special pricing: 10" deluxe boxes are $200 shipped. 12" deluxe boxes are $235 shipped and all custom builds are 20% off!

Here are a couple pics to get you thinking:
yes, that box is only 4" deep at the top. That means you keep most of your trunk space!

This box is a 12", it is 2" deeper. Roll with a 10" and you get more than that!

This is a 10" box installed with the PPI 5 channel I always rave about:

Just so you know, I am a slow old man, so try and be patient while waiting for my Geritol to kick in. OK, maybe not that slow, but it feels like it sometimes.
Working...
