so I have an orion amp and the PPI 365cs components which are located in my door, right between map pocket and door pull. tweeters in factory pods. anyways the amp has the gain set ALL the way up, I back it off like 3 degrees cause I didnt think it was too safe or correct.
Now I can get the speakers to get loud, however on my deck I have to put the volume up to like 50 to do so, which I dont think is correct either. I believe the amp puts out 150 RMS per channel, its a 4 chan bridged to two. just curious as to any suggestions to get it to be loud in the non clipping range
also would sealing up the doors/deadening them help at all? recomended sound deadeners that would help seal it, can I use the peel n seal crap at lowes?
edit: I dont mean obnoxiously loud, but loud enough for me on the highway to rock out a little during long drives, im not a clown who pushes the system to the max windows open thru a downtown district.
