    Project: Door Speakers

This is my first attempt at fiberglass and so far its looking good. Thought adding speakers to the doors would be a nice addition to a vert. Here are some pics of what I have done in the last couple days.

Wow, nice router work! CNC or templates?

I hope you aren't planning on trying to keep that sealed...you will get zero bass if you do.

If you don't wanna cut into the door, read up on "aperodic" designs or consider using speakers intended for tiny sealed boxes...but no way to run "normal" car audio component speakers in that airspace.

        Closing SOON!

Personally, I would never put tweeters firing into my knees...

Its close, but not that close. Like luke said, I messed up by putting the tweeter too close to the knee area lol

If it is open, you should be fine. Shame we don't get the space of an E34 up front:

eh, only a few hundred times.

Pop a speaker out, you will see that the door jamb intrudes into the space.

You are barking up the right tree, man...keep at it.

I've been waiting for something like this for a year, if you can get the design and finish right you might have a decent side business on your hands
