GPS rearview mirror

What do you guys think? I think it's a nice oem+ option for those of you who don't want to mess with ripping apart your hvac panel to fit a double din, or for those who hate those portable gps solution. When the unit is off, it doesn't display so it looks like the factory radio.

Should have pointed out that my father has an Azentek smartmirror in his Toyota. It was 700 brand new and it works better than the standard navigation. Looks and functions like oem equipment. Not a high priority, but this is on my "wishlist"

That's pretty cool. I wonder how big the mirror is though. A 5" screen would make the mirror rather large it seems.

I swear I've seen them for next to nothing on some of the asian sites - you might shop around a bit.

Also - look for video reviews on youtube. It's the next best thing to having on "hands on".

That's awesome, but I would be a little weary of using a stylus on my mirror. They should have a remote control or something (and map lights!) to make it perfect.

How is it a distraction? When you have a gps in the dash you still have to look at it. This is a much better place. And maybe it will force certain people to look in their rear view mirrors.

It seems to have an antenna plug too, so you could maybe do an external antenna for the GPS

The sad part is most people will probably just look at the mirror, not in it (I.E. - What it is reflecting).

i don't look at my gps since it reads out the street names turn by turn.

That's fucking stupid. So you lose half of your mirror to get GPS? I mean at least when people put turn signals and/or radar detectors in their mirrors, you can't see them when they're not lit up.
