I have always been a big fan of JBL but I tend to hear mixed things about them when reading reviews. I may eventually pick a set of these up, or some Image Dynamics CTX65CS. How tough would it be to fit 6.5" comps in the stock locations? Seems like you could just hack it up a bit...

You can yank the tweets out of them and mount them separately. It's kinda an either or kit.

I don't think anyone knows if there will even fit....so.....yeah....

Yeah the staging and phasing is better when the drivers are in the same location so I suppose that's not such a bad idea.

As for the fit, I meant just a good pair of 6.5" as opposed to 5.25", not necessarily the GTOs.

I may. dunno. probably shouldn't. lol. The Zapco's I have are fine but they are their entry level ones so I am guessing these will be better. I have been so busy with work and trying to get both cars ready for bimmerfest I haven't had time to think. AND I am leaving for Europe for 2 weeks next Thursday.

BTW are you coming to bimmerfest on Sat? Or are you going to be lame and not come? :p

Right on, I still dont have extra cash to drop for these, but hopefully soon...and I still dont know if these will fit or not. I guess I might have to experiment in the future.

lol, no I wont be able to go. I really want to but not possible this year. Plus, my e30 is under construction, I would feel out of place next to all the amazing e30s that attend. I hope next year will be the year
