Luke - recommend me a good 4ch wiring kit

Would like to get the amp/sub/box/deck/speakers installed.... I found a $30 kit on amazon, but it's only 2ch.... what do you recommend?

    http://www.amazon.com/PK4Z-Gauge-Pow...f=pd_rhf_p_t_1

I would like something with "thin" rca cables for ease of install, 4ga would be nice for power but 8ga would probably work as well.

1 4ch amp, will drive front stage and rear two channels bridged will drive a single 12 in your box.

    My e34 has battery upfront...

Holy fuck, talk about overpriced garbage! The Kicker is OK wire, but $80 for 8 GA? Kiss my ass! And the Tsunami shit should be about $50, max. Their distribution blocks are made of the same shit as a softball league trophy. They strip, they corrode, they are absolute crap.

Jean, get 3 pairs of the "Premium" RCAs from monoprice.com and grab a hunk of 4ga and a AGU fuseholder (ANL if you want burly) from a local shop. Get enough that WHEN you add to the system (not if, fucker, WHEN) you won't have to run more wire, so make sure you can drop a distribution block or whatever then.

See if you can get 100% copper wire, as copper-clad aluminum is most common these days.

      Closing SOON!

I found a welding supply company online, its all pure copper cable, i got 2 gauge which is probably overkill, but it was wicked cheap, like 20 cents a foot, IIRC. And just used some RCA's i got at tweeter before they went out of business, plus a distro block on ebay. Its held up fine and witht he bigger wire I can upgrade if i need to, just might need to swap some fuses.

Monoprice RCAs are the best for the price. DONT TRY ANYTHING ELSE

Monoprice cables are thick and reported as hard to bend , the price is about the same as Scosche

They aren't that bad, and the connectors are MUCH better. The insulation is thicker. You dont need to bend them THAT much

Not to be a dick here but i would be 100 times more inclined to listen to stereoinstaller's advice(which is what i would have recommended over buying ANY kit anyway) being that he is a professional and not to mention a moderator, than i would your advice. So i would think about that before putting someone else down.

I will reinforce what luke said. Amp kits are overpriced for what they give you and the quality just isnt there.

Well you could listen to me too. I JUST saw Luke yesterday, him and I looked at the stereo on my car. I have used monoprice for cables in the past, look all over the web, they are highly regarded.

People spend $35 on 6 foot rca cables, http://www.bluejeanscable.com/store/audio/index.htm

Lol yea that was meant to support both of you. There is no point in spending so much money on RCAs.
