Can I get a quote for a box shipped to 94555? And what is in the entire package? -
Anyone debating getting an 8" box, DO IT. I have more output in this box than my 10 I had before. Luke and I finally met up and tuned my system and I have to tell you, this box puts out an ample amount of bass. Perfect for my needs as a daily driver. My system sounds AMAZING and I couldn't be happier with the sound quality! Thank you Luke (and Nigel). This system finally fulfills my car audio needs! Can't wait for the door panels you are going to create, 3 way active here I come!Leave a comment:

Luke, thinking of purchasing one box for my 8" sub woofer. I have a JL Audio 8W1-4
I have a couple of amps an Alpine V12 MRV - F250 and an Alpine V12 MRV T-500
Please provide quote - shipped to Carson, CA 90745.Leave a comment:

oh dear god, that beast.
Now that I have the 8" box down, I could make you a custom version. We would need to be about 2" deeper (6.5" diameter magnet, 6" deep? SHEEEEEIT!) and obviously made of 3/4" instead of 1/2"...loses the LTW thing.
If you are interested, make up your mind EXACTLY what you want and email me, we can work out a deal.
Sales@germanaudiospecialties DOT COM is a good address.Leave a comment:

I think we ought to be thinking about some other options, but if you want, I have this weekend open to do your install.
I still say use a little 4 channel on this, then do something else (E46 did you say? Hmmmm...) with the JL beast.
You should hear the red car. I swear, it is damn near as much output as the 10", only a couple db down at very low frequencies, mighty impressive in my book.Leave a comment:

I am sure interested to see how the 500/5 is going to work with this set up...that box is SMALL. I had the 500/5 mounted up top on the rear shelf in my e46...would this be the better route rather than using the amp rack option?
Edit: Just looked at the rear shelf, I am thinking that would be a no...Last edited by Gregolas; 08-01-2011, 05:32 PM.Leave a comment:
