    Weekend of the 30th work?

I am at this 7 days a week, usually.

If you are 100% certain let me know.

I will be starting on these as soon as 2 other boxes (Mega 10 and E3012) are done.

So I seem to have 3 confirmed?

I'm not in for the initial run, but I will definitely be buying one of these in the coming months.

Luke - you know what I need (or want rather) ... would this be a better fit than the 10" box for my needs?

That Boston sure looks the winner. I may be convinced.to sell my bad ass Fosgate too, but only a maybe. The price is kind of dependant on hassle of build...all of which aol go smother now that my son is here to help!

    In!!!

Edit: What would be the ideal woofer specs to look into for a woofer for the box? I was looking at the Boston woofer, looks promising for $50! Also, what is the estimate on price for these boxes? Thanks Luke! I have been (somewhat) patiently waiting on adding bass to my system!

Yes, and thanks for asking. Trunk tar will need to be removed before this will fit.

The 8" LTW Subwoofer box OFFICIAL Feeler

In the immoral words of Mary Pong: "you don't got money, start steppin"

The idea here is to gauge how many 8" boxes I need to do as an initial run.

Please discuss your interest, ask questions, toss out ideas...but please, keep it to the 8" box ONLY.

The general idea of the box is from the left vertical brace to the far right side of your trunk. The goal is 15" tall, but only 2" depth at the top of the box, 8" at the bottom.

There will be a single 8" woofer and a single 3" port tube, both firing through and completely sealed to the ski pass hole. 100% of the bass will be in the cabin, no sound deadning of any kind will be needed.

There will be no rattles on a completely stock car, as usual in my designs.

The gross internal volume I am aiming for is .90 cubic foot, but I want to use big burly 8" woofers. I will be using the classic Fosgate Punch DVC as a model.

The box will be made from 5/8" MDF to shave a few pounds, but will have a single brace of MDF to control resonances in the front and rear panels.

My goal is under 25 pounds for box AND woofer, assuming an Infinity, Sony or Boston 8", none of which are as burly as my model.

The purely cosmetic amp rack should be no more than 5 pounds.

Part of the design will be easy removal for track cars. An optional amp rack will also be available.

These boxes will come fully upholstered in my "near perfect match" carpet. Due to the additional labor of upholstery and the additional materials, plus the undoubtedly smaller runs of these boxes, they will cost a bit more than the 10" boxes...but the final product is all about what R3V wants.

    So...lets hear it!

Thanks again for all your continued support,

    Luke Fisher
