I have two front seats that I could cut the fabric out of the bottoms. Really dirty and not sure how well it wash out though. The drivers is seat is really, really broken. but if it's what you need, I'll do it cheapz
The baffle is attached with fiberglass and short strand filler (duraglass, best product IMO). it's reinforced with mat where I could.
TurboJake, that is what I am looking for, except my divers seat has developed a tear in it, and a local guy with a Euro E36 M3 pulled his Vaders and will sell them to me for $700 for the pair. The car is very low mileage (it was shipped from Japan) so the seats should be in good shape. I will take a look at them sometime this week and let you know if I need the material.
Did some work on the kick panels today. I don't know how many notice that the stock kickpanel rubs on some speakers surrounds, but they did on mine, especially after sealing them. So time to modify the kicks and give the speakers some room.
I ordered some grille material, and will finish them when it arrives. Still haven't decided on subs, trying to get Alpine Type R thins, but our store doesn't stock them and being a big box I have to jump through hoops to get them.
Here's the little rain tray thingy in the bottom of the kick.
Damping applied inside the kick panel.
Damping and sealing ring applied to outside of the kick.
Speaker installed.
Kick panel back in, no grille yet.
These sound very good for a cheap co ax install. I have them crossed over at 40 Hz, at 12 dB per octave and they have really good midbass and play very loudly and cleanly.
Also thought I would post a couple cool pics for Luke, he would appreciate this.
Wait...is that one yours? I remember it being some kind of prize or something.
Maybe I will have my brother paint all 3 of mine. I don't care for the style he does, but he is an internationally recognized Master of the Airbrush. His site is www.daddyodesigns.com if you are curious...I keep thinking about having him do some pinstriping or something

Thanks! Willy has tons of awards and magazine articles. He also did the logo for the Food Networks "Tricked Out Tailgating" show...which is odd. I saw the logo, thought "hmmm....that looks like Willies work" and sure enough, it is!

So here is the update you all have not been asking about.
I have the 16x8 ESM wheels on. They are the CCW style. Look awesome, need new lugs for the back, the aftermarket ones I had were too long. I had to grind down the brake caliper a bit (1-2mm) on the passenger side to clear the wheel.
I have the Depo smoked Euro lights on, they look great.
I have a new blower motor on the way from Blunttech. I have some lights for the OBC and a chip for the engine on the way from Pelican Parts.
AND some azzhole made an illegal turn in front of me and I hit him. He is at fault, but the insurance company is going to try and write the car off I think. The hood is bent, the grille is busted. There is some scuffing on the chrome bumper. The rad support is slightly bent back. The little metal strip under the grille that holds the four grille screws is twisted pretty good, but looks like it bolts on so is replaceable? The rad has some squished fins, but not terrible. Car is totally drivable.
Adjuster is coming tomorrow morning to look at it. I would be happy with $3-$3.5K settlement and I keep the car. Otherwise this is all on hold.
