Blank panel to Check panel (not the usual question)

I have a 318iS, meaning the blank panel. That panel also is missing the front cover, meaning all I see is the bulbs. I have a check panel from a m20 car and I want to use that instead.

I know that you need a harness and the work is not worth it at all to get the complete panel to work, but since it also has the SRS and seatbelt lights in it, I want to use my existing board with the new panel to allow only those indicators to work.

I found a diagram online a while ago which detailed the wiring from the blank panel board to the check panel lighting, but I cannot find it anymore. Anyone have details? I'm no not a wiring genious by any means and don't want to fry the boards I have.

Goals: Illusion of a check panel but only the lights from the blank panel work (SRS and Seatbelt)

Or could just get rid of it all together. This is an overhead panel out of an early model 318i I have in my late 318i.

I don't want to get rid of it, and I like to customize things.

I need to figure out how to wire the old board and connector to the new chech panel indicators for the SRS and seatbelt lights. I can solder, but I am am not about to jstu start sticking wires all over the place. I know this has been done but cannot locate the article.

I reverse engineered the full check panel a few years ago. Honestly, it is probably not worth the work to try to get the seatbelt & SRS light functioning. All the other ones will be lit up unless you mess with those circuits since they won't be connected to anything. I guess you could just remove those LEDS though.

Anyway, I'd just find a working 318iS panel. They are super cheap.
