Will pop out LCD headunits fit e30?

I tried searching havent found anything. Wanted to know if anyone has put in a head unit that has the lcd navigation screen slide out and if it fits on their e30's.
    Specifically I have a 325i conv.

Thanks for your time. Sorry for the n00b questions

I had it, the flip out screen wouldn't really function and pop out because the wiper stalk was in the way so I had to take out the fuse for it, and whenever it would pop up, I'd need to move the stalk way up. Wouldn't really recommend it

if you get the HVAC panel from a RHD car, you are all good.

I have one in my car all you need to do is pull the plastic handle off the wiper switch, the end piece just pops off right at the split. Now take a drill and drill through the plastic end so the wiper stalk can be pushed through. Then cut off the end of the plastic handle so you can pish it farther down the stalk, reinstall the handle and your set.

Heres some pics to help you out a bit.

We offer 316 Euro HVAC panels with no OBC, the head unit section is centered so flip up works great with it. We have several in stock. Drive up and see in person.

Tried that but you have to do a DIY on the edges to make it fit.

This is good mod, I would certainly do it in mine. Been wanting a POP out for a long time.

im so glad my first thread/post wasnt a huge n00b Fail! I just got my car for 1500$ so spending 500-900$ on an lcd popout isnt exactly a big priority of mine considering this is my beater (other car is an e92). That being said I am already in love with this car and can see me driving it more than my e92 335i, so having a navigation/dvd/bluetooth head unit would be awesome.

I will look at shortening my stock, that seems like the least amount of time Id have to spend to get it to work. Questions about that is how does the plastic end piece stay in place? Either way I will take a look.

Reason Im asking is because I have the stock head unit, got the security code and it beeps at me every time I try to enter it. Still locked :(

Already called 2 dealerships who gave me the same code. Everytime I go to enter it the car beeps at me before I can get the 5th digit in.
