those look great, looks like the box I built for my M3. My brother in-law does wood work and we made the box in less than an hour after I made the prints on SolidWorks, it was dope. Fast when you have the write equipment lying around plus he use to make his friends sub boxes in high school, he said it was way easier with my prints."I wanna see da boat movie"

Also, I have been lurking on the release of your e30 vert sub for years, grin.

Luke, PM me when you start making things for the E46 - I'm looking for a suitable box that doesn't interfere with the spare tire. My buddy tried making one a week or so ago and it was absolutely laughable compared to the LukeBox I have in my E30.
As long as you do what I tell you, that is.
So, yeah, I really am gonna have to make a bunch of noise when the E46 hits. Honestly, I think the E46 is the main building block of the future of my company. I have done 3 or 4 custom builds, so I know the car pretty well. We just may have found a "model" to use. I generally keep cars for 3 or 4 weeks to develop the box...but I want to have them at Bimmerfest...I have a TON of work ahead.
Just so you know, the E46 is one of the first cars I will be developing a 10 channel passive crossover network for, so you can simply replace the stock amp with a decent 5 channel feeding a 10" sub and the crossover network and all the stock speakers. I promise, the thing will come alive.
Buuuut these cars being so difficult to build to the standard I want to see, it ain't gonna be "Lukebox" prices.
We will launch it with an amp rack as well, I am hoping to have both ready for Bimmerfest. Like I said, I got my hands full.
Thanks for the kind words.
Luke

There is a small but eager market of X3 owners, especially if you could do something that would go behind either of the rear panels or replace one in a stock looking fashion. Expensive would be ok, fitment, quality and oem appearance would be more important. I have an 06 with the sport package if you'd ever like to poke around and have a look.92 325ic 5 speed, hard top, windscreen, 133k, for sale

I'd like to do something in the next few months. Focusing on getting it in top mech condition now.
Think how cool it would be to offer a guy with say, an F10 the ability to integrate his stock deck, a modded version of his stock amp, a nice 5 channel amp and a single 10 into his stock system...but that is WAAAAAY in the future.
Every time I had to deal with "one of those goddamn BMWs" in every shop I ever worked at, I wished for something like this. I am talking about literally hundreds of cars, and a major pain in the ass every time. You can use the MBQuart 3 way crossovers, if you can find them, but the BMW mid can't deal with the cutoff frequencies from the 'Quart crossovers...plus then you have a pair of 3 way crossovers and a pair of 2 way crossovers, takes up a lot of room.

Please tell me that the system is going to installed by SDBC enterprises. I want him to finally hear one of these things.
