M3 stereo no working

My 88 m3 unit doesn't play the radio..all I hear is static! Sounds like the antenna isn't hooked up (but it is) I've tried another antenna,with no luck!

Who do you trust to get these repaired.?

Sounds like it's troubleshooting time. Should be straightforward.
