HU wiring harness..?

I bought a best buy wiring harness for a simple head unit w/ aux input. The part number is 70-8590 and is def not plug and play... Does anyone know the correct harness if there is one? Best buy said I might have to just splice my actual wires to e new unit...

I believe that will only work on E36s.

I don't think there is a harness for the E30, I think you'll need to splice into the existing wires. (My wiring was already all cut up by previous owners, and from what I have seen at junkyards the stock stereo has wires going into many different places and not into something like the 70-8590 harness shows when I google it.)

My car's stereo wiring was a total mess and I thought it would be hard but it was actually quite easy to do the install.

(The only difference I had was the violet/white wire was violet/grey on my 91.)
