I purchased one of those Omega REC-43T keyless entry do daddy's... I intended on following these instructions: http://bmw.e30tuner.com/articles_rec43t.php
When I took down my trunk lining, I found what I believe to be the stock premium audio amp, and a hacked up harness which isn't connected. The only other thing which is in the trunk (audio wise) is a unused Kenwood CD changer which has a HUGE monster cable running into the cabin.
What the heck is this for (if not the amp?) And what should I do about it? My speakers are all stock as far as I know, I only have a nothing fancy aftermarket head unit. I am not a huge audio nut, but at the same time, I don't like the looks of that harness.
I only have this iPhone photo, and if needed can take better photos.
