Looking for info on the "econometer boost gauge" although for oil pressure

I have a bad oil pressure switch and instead of replacing it, I'm going with a digital VDO sender that will double as output for a gauge.

Oil pressure is too vital not to monitor... but I really hate the idea of a fugly gauge in my interior. I like george graves' digital gauge, not sure if he still makes them though. which brings me to the econometer alternative - I've found the thread on e30tech, but there's no contact information for "justrack" and I can't use my account, it's been pending for quite awhile now. justrack are you on here? anyone know if I can get an oil pressure version of the econometer?

Im interested in this, maybe he would do something like a group buy? I'd love to replace my econogauge with a more useful meter. Volts, oil pressure, oil temp, post up if he responds to you

Didn't the M cars come with an oil pressure gauge where the econometer is in the 3 series? Or was that an oil temperature gauge?

Had to look that up, but indeed the E30 M3 had an oil temp gauge rather than econometer.

What's involved with getting the M3 oil temp gauge to work in place of the econometer (other than the gauge itself and an oil temp sender)? Thanks

Cheaper to have him make you an oil temp gauge like he did for me than to retrofit an M3 gauge in.

                    Alternative...

Volts on left, Oil Temp on right. Although any digital gauge can be used.

I built this for my cluster.

He is setup to make them now. Hit him up via PM.

Doing so thanks! It would be nifty if it could have the scale in F and more centered, possibly, like the M3 part. I'll write him.

I wanted the units in Metric and he came up with 4 different dials for me to choose from, I am sure he can show you the templates for Imperial units as well.

Excellent, thanks! Waiting for a reply to PM...
(edit: slightly OT, I wonder where I should put an oil temp sensor in an S52...)

Please let us know what you hear, and invite him to post here.

Oil temp sensor can easily be added via the drain plug but I would go for an oil distribution block from BavAuto or others, this bolts off of the filter housing for a bit cleaner installation (I wouldn't want wires going all the way to the pan).
