Have done quite a few. My suggestion is an Audiocontrol LC8i so you have a proper AUX in.

Proper sub level controller, too, plus the best converters available, SQ for the buck.

You would need to power all of your speakers, but you knew that already.

Hi Luke, about the same theme, I have a question, in my 90 vert I have a JVC AVX 44 head unit, with an Alpine 5 channel AMP and a subwoofer on fifth channel. I want to install the original Head Unit, using a LC8i controller, but have only 4 speaker outputs, how can I connect the fifht channel for the sub?

        Regards

        Luis

Luis, the LC8i has "summing" circuitry, takes care of that for you.

Luke, I got the lc8i, but what can I do to control the levels of my individual speakers? Balance/fade/bass/treble etc...

On AUX, you have nothing but volume control and sub levels..you car does not need any bass or treble adjustment anyway, it fucking rocks.

On the stock deck, the balance and fader will work if so equipped.
