Speedometer and HU stopped working

Hello,

Yesterday I was fiddling with my head unit (the entire box not the face), and when I put it back in its slot I noticed that it does not turn on when I start the car, and the speedometer, tachometer, and mpg meter stopped working (but the fuel tank meter does). The head unit, sound system, and gauges were working fine before this. I tried looking behind the head unit and all wires appear to have a solid connection, include the power wire. Any thoughts? Update: after pulling the HU out, the tachometer and mpg meter are working. Now only the speedometer and HU are not working.

Update: the mpg meter works intermittently, cannot seem to figure out why. I pulled the cluster gauge and didnt see anything obvious, hooked it back up with no results. Reconnected power and ground wires on HU with no results either. So confused.

The wiring for the cluster runs behind the head unit to the OBC. Your probably pinched the wires pressing the radio into the slot. There is probably an open in one of the power or ground wires.

Unfortunately, it can be very difficult to find if its not obvious. Pull OBC, cluster and head unit completely out. Then try removing the tape around the wires behind the head unit. inspect that wiring carefully.

You can find the wiring diagrams in the electrical troubleshooting manual on this site. You can start by verifying power and ground at each troublesome device.
