OBC lights up orange but no information, its blank

My 13 button On Board Computer (OBC) lights up orange but has no information displayed, its just blank but does light up.

My RPM gauge and MPG gauge in my cluster stopped working as well. I took the cluster apart and it seems the printed circuit board is burnt and a copper wire is lifting up from the printed circuit board.

I just ordered a replacement remanufactured printed circuit board from Programa.

I believe (crosses fingers) that will solve the RPM /MPG gauge in my cluster but do you think that will also fix my OBC as well?

Check ur fuses. Bottom row...7.5a. Make sure they r ok.

Thanks, I wish it was that easy but all the fuses are perfectly fine.

Are u sure? did u measure continuity? Does the radio work? The SI board will fix your tach but probably not the obc.

Its actually not the SI board as I just purchased an SI board. I pierced my original SI board with too long of screws which really messed things up. I then bought a remanufactured SI board from Programa which fixed the Heat gauge (which was not working with the SI board I broke) but did not fix the Tach/MPG gauge nor obviously did not fix the OBC.

What is burnt and has a copper wire not fully connected (lifting up) is the printed circuit board:

I checked the fuses and they are not split the metal pieces are fully in tact. If I blew a fuse I thought the metal pieces would of broke which would then blow the fuse? So, since the metal pieces are in tact and not broken then I assume the fuse has not blown?

If you have soldering skills you can bridge the circuit easily. Or you can simply get another cluster altogether. I suspect a fuse because I know the Tach, OBC and radio receive power from the same fuses. The other day all three went out on my M3. I checked the fusebox diagram and sure enough, one of the fuses was blown. So did the tach and obc go out at the same time? 7.5A fuses have a very thin wire that's hard to see. It's best to check with a meter.

THANK GOODNESS. Once I replaced the printed circuit board the RPM/MPG gauge worked AND the OBC is working again (knock on wood). :) :)
