yeah i got 2 6 1/2 ones off ebay and 2 5 1/4 ones off of here with some other mtx speakers for 60. They were from a parts car and i bought them untested, ends up one of them vibrates when bass is played through it

yeh i figured for the back...i heard people squeezing in 6x9's in the rear.

Don't put shitty 6x9s in the rear. 6.5" rounds will sound much better... that is if you have to put rear speakers in.

In regards to your previous question, I highly doubt you can find a decent pair of MBs or Focals for under $200.

a sick set of focal's went for $125 on ebay..i fuckin lost the auction by two god damn dollars!!!!!

and there's no way im puttin 6x9's in the rear, im sure ill be quite happy with components up front.

maraka, I have to ask why you recommend to stay away from Hifonics?

I am running a Hifonics Zeus right now, and my last amp was a Hifonics. Both of them have been some of the best amps I have worked with. They are super clean and underrated power wise from the factory. Great amps for the prices.

lol everyones got an opinion dude...some people have different needs or different preferences for the sound passing through their ears..

i just want some good components that aren't outrageoulsy expensive to match up with my sub and the amps..

Now, what would be the best component to pair up with these?

I don't really want to spend more than $150-$170 on a set, here in chinatown it'll be possible to bargain with these dudes. So throw me brands with models prefarably!!

Also another thing that I have completely overlooked...should i be upgrading my car battery? My friend is telling me im gonna need the "yellow top" and i have no fuckin clue what that is..lol

Thats not enough power to need a new battery, but you might need a capacitor.
