    Opinions?

just bought an e28 to daily so I can do rust repair on the e30. No HU in the e28, looking for a cheap replacement and all my music is strictly iPod/iPhone. Saw this pyle mechless receiver and am oddly digging the retro 2 knob layout and stock looking color. its $29 on wallymart.com

I've installed hundreds of Pyle and Boss radio's. I've also removed just as much. I'd be surprised if they last a couple years.

I figured as much, but I cant even find a used "quality" brand with an aux input or usb for less than $50(new about $80), we'll see in a week or 2 on which way I go.

I find head units costing over $300 usually last a few decades. Well worth the money. Sound better too.

found a pioneer deh3200ub for $65 at the local pawn shop, perfect for what im looking for. Front USB input with iPod control, 2 sets of pre-outs, and a switchable(60/80/100/125hz) HPF for deck power(50x4max).
