About to buy Viper Reponder 350. Any suggestions on cheap / good alarms before I do?

The "search" tool helped lead me to that one, but I figured I'd post and see if anyone has a specific recommendation with alarms on e30s. Anyone install a viper alarm? pretty painless or pain in the ass?

p.s. - i dont need anything fancy like remote start or anything... I mean if I could say "beam me up" and magically teleport into my driver seat I'd be willing to spend extra couple bucks....

Its a fine alarm.

Some accessories you might want to think about are the digital tilt sensor, glass breakage sensor and backup battery.
