Cruise control quit working..?

    i have also heard you can use any of the top 3 connectors here for the cruse control wire.

    ive pulled my cluster 3 times and im not sure which connector i pulled the wire from. each time during reinstallation, i just picked one and things worked.

      Just simply plugging the little blue wire in the correct spot on the green plug on the backside of the speedometer.

        Both my '87 325iS and my ex's '89 325i lost cruise. Both were bad modules, the one above the glovebox.

          Thanks for this input Luke. I pieced together a cc system from yard parts and installed it. Never did work – and after checking the clutch switch engagement, I lost interest not knowing what to check out next.. now knowing that modules can go bad, I can/will try swapping mine out with an extra one I have.
