    Car amp keeps blowing fuses

So heres whats going on an im stumped. I routed wires from the deck for the RCA's and remote, took forever. Connected the ground wire to a bolt by the battery on the chassis and power to the battery. Once everything was hooked up i turned the car on and wondered why my amp wasnt working, checked the fuses, blown. So i figured it was due to my crash. Pulled the old ones out and as i was putting the new one in, bam, they blew.

Ive checked, re-checked and re-checked again the ground wire to make sure it was a solid connection to both the Amp and chassis.

I checked to make sure the remote wire was giving power, it was.

Im stumped at this moment and ideas would be very helpful especially if you've delt with this before hand.

Disconnect power from the amp and see if the fuse still blows. Cover the power wire when you do this. It should not blow, if it does you have a screw or something that has punctured the power wire to ground.

If it doesn't blow, plug the amp back in. If it continues to blow, replace amp. Be sure you have + and - connected right at the amp.
