    Kind of...

So wire No.2 & No.3 are car side

    No.4 is relay

    No.1 Goes to a-pillar

Then there the thicker wire which runs from a-pillar to unit.

Seeing I cut one to many wires, will the final connection be a three way? or.. do I leave a wire out? Alittle confuzzled right now.

    EDITED: Added awesome paint picture.

This is currently how the wiring looks.

    Then connect which wires?
The 2 wires going to the A pilaar are a loop only, goes into the door and comes back out, it does nothing.
The 2 wires you cut going to and coming from the A pillar will need connecting, on the car side, not the door side.
    Does that make sense?????

    Right,
No.1 goes into the A pliiar.
From the A pillar is another Red/Black wire coming back to the unit, that's the loop you need to cut out.

Did you trace them to the Apillar plug first?

Sorry, but it applies to ALL E30 models.
The coupes have 2 Red/Black wires, and the "Verts" have 3.
I did this mod on my "Vert" and joined all 3 Red/Blck wires.

Basically, all it does is loop in the door back into the Door plug with a constant live, and corodes the plug terminals.
The MOD works by bypassing the loop in the door.
Alot of guys over here have done that, and have no issues after that.

Cut the wires from the relay, and twisted them together for temp. Plugged the battery in and nothing still.

Wait a second, you said the thick wires? The ones coming out of the unit?
