    Starter stuck?

So I've been noticing that my car randomly dies for a split second then comes back to life today especially when I go over bumps. Havent had a chance to take a look at it yet and it already bite me bad

Coming down a hill, went over a speedbump and everything died for literally an entire second then came back, started it up and noticed right away sounded like my blower fan was on a crazy high level I've never heard.
I immediately pulled over and disconnected the battery. Tried to reconnect the battery but it was throwing a lot of sparks. I reconnected hoping the sound goes away but it didn't.

Further diagnosis makes me think the starter is trying to start the car even when the key is not in. Got a smell of burning wire too so I kept the battery disconnected. I also noticed I have a slight coolant leak on the starter fwiw.
Waiting for the tow truck to take it home.

Any ideas what is going on here?

    Car:
    89 325is
Build date 7/88 but have a newer m20b25 engine harness (did cut the pin 20 I believe it was in the c101)
Also got upgraded engine heavy duty ground wires from a board memeber. (2awg welder wires I believe it was for main ground and alternator to starter)

Hopefully I get this squared away quickly
I'm also sort of a noob when it comes to electronical so any and all help is appreciated!!!

Make sure those cables are tight. Esp the alternator to starter cable. Also the ground cable. Be sure your battery connections are tight too.

The starter should only crank over with ignition. If you connect your battery, and your starter starts the car without a key in, you have a short in your starter trigger wire, thin blue wire.
