Pics? Yessir, on our site or in tutorials here on R3V, linked in my sig.

Here is the Power Top box:

It is tough to get good clean shots of the steps, but their job is to allow room for the motors

Of course, there is a motor on the back wall of the top storage area, so when we addressed the amp rack for that install, it became an engineering marvel more complex than any of our boxes. We have plans to do one or two production runs of these a year, but they will be insanely expensive, around $700 for box and amp rack.

    Gorgeous is an understatement:

and a peek at the complexity. You can see there are several angles and LOTS of clearance issues everywhere. These are very tough to build:

Sorry for being slow on the pic request, we have been up to our eyeballs getting our newest product to market. Things have been very busy here at GAS.

We are developing a 10 channel passive crossover that will work with the stock speakers of newer BMWs, so your E34, E36, E46, E90, whatever can have SERIOUS performance from the stock speakers...all part of the plan!

Finally got my (original) vert box operational today. I still need to do the tuning/balancing but even without that this sounds great. If this is any indication I can only say whichever version you buy you will not be disappointed.

Keep up the good work Luke.

Don't forget to port your back seat for best results

You will have to series something, typically I would run each woofer in series and paralell the two woofers.

Thanks! exactly what I was looking for.

did some more searching...I think I'm going with 2 Rockford Fosgate P2D2-8 Punch P2 DVC 2 Ohm subs. back in the day when I was even more clueless I would run the speaker wire from the amp to one voice coil and then a short speaker wire from that voice coil to the other. Is that acceptable practice or better to run 4 speaker wires, 1 to each voice coil from the amp?

You want to end up at 2 ohms on bass. 500 watts on 2 ohms, 250 watts on 4 ohms...all you have to do is buy the correct woofers.

    You can do 2 DVC 2 ohm/coil OR 2 SVC 4 ohm.

Do NOT get the typical DVC 4ohm/coil woofer, you will only get 1/2 power from that amp.
