Would the sundown sa-8 fit and work well in this this box? Saw a video on YouTube! That vid through my Bose gives me a hint at the sound it produces. I'm sold on this one! -
Thanks man!!! I'm building my perfect car. For my enjoyment only. This whole setup really caught my eye! I'm just tryin to get the absolute most from my setup. But wanna use fiberglass to save some weight. Any drawbacks to this?Leave a comment:

Weight savings and just to be different. I'm pretty good with glass. And I love to put my own twist on things.Leave a comment:

Not trying to belittle you or anything you do. I know I can always learn something. I used to be a hardcore mini trucker. But I've been in love with the e30 vert since I first saw it back in 87. Been restoring mine since the day I got it. But this is my first true convertible. I'm only trying to get the best bass I can. Anything you could teach me, I more than thank you.Leave a comment:

I can agree. Having years in the game, you definitely must have learned something. I've just never heard an eight that was impressive. But I'm game on trying something new. So tell me, can this box be made using fiberglass?Leave a comment:

Fair enough...however, we dont sell a bunch of these, so the chance of hearing one is pretty slim.Nice looking box! Wish I could hear it in person! I've been wondering about suds for my vert and have a lot of questions. Hearing it would answer a lot of them. I can't buy anything without hearing it. I've learned that it is the only way to know for sure it's for me. I'm 39 now and been thumping since the 80's.
As far as "Boomin' in the 80's"...yeah, I invented that shit.
LOL...I started installing as a professional at age 17...in 1980.
Let me know if I can help. Personally, I say if you want great bass, buy a car with a goddamn roof. in the meantime, this is the flat out best bass I have heard in a convertible, ever.
Nothing else will get boom in the cabin like this does...but after 32 years as a pro, I have learnt a thing or three, ya know?

Boxes are built, we are waiting on upholstery materials. If anyone else wants in on this run, we have ONE left...Leave a comment:
